Welcome to "Irish Pub" in Kathmandu!!!
The typical Irish pub can best be described as follows: Once entering a pub then status and rank of the guests have no meaning anymore, people from all economic and cultural backgrounds come here together for a drink or a chat, and all generation gaps are automatically bridged. Debates are held between all guests, and locals like to include foreigners as well. Regulars are occupying the bar, usually on the same chair all the times. Strangers are always welcome, and, after a few pints, are leaving as friends. Traditional Irish music is played in many places live, often by guests. It is said that Irish don't need a reason to celebrate, drink and enjoying a day in a pub. We would not dare to add any comment to that fact.
It would be great if our guests here in Kathmandu could follow the same path and make the "Irish Pub" as authentic as possible. The unique mixture from conversation and music, food and drink and the original Irish furnitures and decoration provide a well-balanced and cosy atmosphere as it may usually be known only from Ireland itself.
